We have been asked if we would create some art pieces for a banner that will be displayed in Barlow Park.  I would like to know from you what would you like to do?  Here are some things to think about:

• What type of art work would you like to do? (Painting, drawing, collage …?)
• What size groups would you like to work in?

this weeks challenge has been set by the fabulous people at BrainPop and features Tim and Moby.  Watch the video and then write 100 words being as creative and imaginative as you can.  I cannot wait to see what you come up with. I am sure you will really enjoy doing this.

“Look, we have found the golden tresure chest!” exclaimed Tim. Sadly, a pirate had stolen a golden tresure chest for years and years. He had been hiding the golden tresure chest for years so that none could find it. Suddenly, out it poped in the middle of nowhere. Tim and Moby had found the golden tresure chest. ” It’s a miricle!” screamed Moby, ” We have found the golden tresure chest!”

“Yey!” screamed Tim back.

“We had better take this home before the pirate takes it away!” suggested Moby.

“Good idea!” whispered Tim.

So that was the story of the golden tresure chest.

In music (during the past few weeks) we have looked at doing rounds. Additionally, we did a song called ‘Autumn Leaves’. Here is my version but with a completely different meaning. Despite it being very short, I tried hard with it. It is called, I like chocolate.

I like eat-ing, choc-late,

White or milk, not Dark.

It is not  good for you

but I like it all the while!

E- Even though I am really daft, my softer side scares people as it is so generous, unlike the rest of me! Mwahahahaaaaa!

M- Millie is my nickname athough people call me it all the time! (I only just let them get away with it!)

I-Inquisitive yet indapendent,I am cheeky but also,I am strong minded with a big heart.

L- Loved and adored by all the family, I am the luckiest girl ever and no one can take it away from me!

I- Imagine someone who laughs at everything,giggles and smiles,sings and acts. You have the perfect picture of me.

A- An adorable achiever is what my mum says. I am not sure if I belive her as she has her ways!

“Oooooohhhh!” Bleeped Moby,eyes agog, mouth wide open. Shimmering and glimmering like a disco ball, The sabre toothed, purple striped geko lay in the suns vibrant rays.

“Oweeee! Visitors, please don’t eat me! Despite having a delectable looking chocolate skin, inside I am all gooey with added mud!” At this, Tim pulled a face,Moby liked his lips and George (the geko) stood on his hind legs and entertained them with a jig!

These Gekos are very rare and can only be found in the states of  Marshmallow, Fudge and Sherbet. Next time you see a lizard or geko in the zoo…oh, well… you never know,they could be like George!

I just know you are going to be amazing today and I will be thinking of you all.  Mr Williams has told me you all did amazingly well yesterday and this has really cheered me up. Continue to show off just how wonderful you are and remember to USE THE CALCULATOR to work out your answers.

I miss you all and hope you remember to go on the blog…perhaps you could let me know what you have been up to whilst I have been away.  That way I feel like I am still there.

I am so sorry I cannot be with you this morning whilst you do your maths show off….but I want you to know I am thinking of you all. You have all worked so hard and made do much progress already. I am so proud of you all.

“Welcome, welcome to the extravagant talent show, which is being presented by the lovely Paddy Mcguinness!” While Tine Tempah is introducing all the gobsmacking acts (to soon be performing) backstage is Mister Maker, who is going to be showing the bored crowd how to make a muddy 10ft ball. Unusual and strange, Mister Maker has forgotten alot of his ingrediants to create the masterpiece. What shall he do? Luckily, his best friend (Nicki Minaj) fillied in for him. So the crowd would be in a good mood for Mister Maker. Frustrated Mister Maker whispered “Now what do I need because I’ve got spaghetti and cellotape, oh I know mud!”

Today after our first playtime of the day, we had to do our first SATS test, which was the reading test. I felt quite nervous but really excited. Because the time had come. The actual day. All of the practice tests we do every now and then have finished. I was sitting next to one of my best friends, welol not next to her she was on the corner of my table. The classroom was bare and there was no excitment in the room. Excited Mrs Duxbury gave each table a pot of grapes to eat through the test. Because the liquid in the grapes are good for us and they are very nutritious for our brains also they keep our brains going. Finally we started.

I’ve found a game on news paper reports which will help anyone who is struggling on them. It is great fun and easy to do!
