100 word challenge

Filed Under (General News) by on 20-10-2011 and tagged ,

The journey was long and tiresome, however the scene was most beautiful. I folded my newspaper in half and laid it on the grimy, plastic table on the train,  as I simultaneously looked out of the smeared window. The black and white patches against the swaying, lush green grass reminded me about my childhood days in the Welsh valley. Le’ Paris gallery de art was a bubbling, bustling place and as I approached, crowds were gathered to see the famous, priceless piece of art work. When my eyes saw the sight of the ‘Boeuf’ I went back in time to the valley…. Never would I eat a burger again!

I love this! You’ve clearly thought a great deal about the picture and the images it conjures for you. The alliteration of bubbling and bustling is great and really creates a picture in my head!

Super word choices and ambitious sentence structures. Do you usually eat burgers? Try to start sentences with openers or connectives.
